A private space for the care and attention to plants was created within a public, NYC park over the course of a single year. My role, as steward, was simply to provide the best care possible for the plants through four seasons. Drawn to the house-like structure, park-goers were often frustrated by its enclosure and semi-transparency, often surprised by the presence of a body within, and on occasion entered the space when I was not present.
